Two neighbors who are proud of their massacre

I forgot…

This summer my sisters and I are going on a little roadtrip to see this great state that we live in and take for granted. Before (or after?) we go though, we’re getting tattoos. I never thought I’d get a tattoo, but this one will have very strong significance. We’re all getting a “Z” (for our last name) somewhere so that no matter where we are or what their names change to (certainly not mine), we’ll always be Z- sisters.

Someone please find or design me a cool “Z” to permanently ink on my body. For real, I need help. I don’t want anything real big and fancy, but something more than Zorro’s plain stick-line Z. Also, where should I get it? Currently I’m thinking the inside of my ankle, but I’m up for suggestions.

[Brad--that one's also for you]

Here’s some cool looking z’s. Or maybe you think they’re stupid looking, but at least they’re not Zorro’s plain stick-line Z.

Also have you ever done anything cool with the fact that your last initial is just your first flipped horizontally? SZ, lots of design goodness to be had there! You could even very easily sneak an L in there.

    Ok, I’m rambling…sorry!

Yay tattoos are fun and I love the fact that the sisters are getting the same thing. As far as where to get it……. I would go with a place that you won’t mind having a tattoo in 50 years. And think about what kind of job/career you will be having, can you have a visible tattoo on your ankle?

I like the Stonehedge one or Lucida.

Thanks! I like Stonehenge and Lucida I think.

I’ve definitely done cool things with the symetricalness of my initials. I used to make logos for myself in case I ever became really important and needed my own letterhead or something.

I don’t really ever wear skirts to work, so I think I could get away with an ankle tatoo. Mostly I just don’t want the cliche lower-back tatoo and I don’t really know where else it isn’t tacky on a girl’s body.
