My sweet Scarlet is here! She was born on Tuesday as planned.

Everything went really well, and both mom and baby are in good health. And clearly crazy about each other.

I'm pretty crazy about her, too. I was at the hospital when she was born, and I visited the next two days to cuddle my little girl.

Mike's pretty excited to have a new niece, as well.

Scarlet and Kelli were discharged today and headed home. While the hospital is an easy stop on my way home from work, her home is not. In fact, it's 45 minutes past my house, which is an hour and 15 minutes from work. So I won't get to cuddle Scarlet everyday as I'd like to.

Good thing I have lots of adorable pictures to stare at.

(This is when she was about an hour old.)

(I've only seen her with her eyes open for about a total of 6 seconds so far. Sleepy girl.)

(Daddy's nose, mommy's mouth and chin, and lots of dark hair (just like Brady had (in fact she looks quite a bit like Brady did as a newborn)). We make cute ones in our family.)
