Post nuptials

The wedding is over. I'm a married woman. And it was a smashing success! I've been neglecting this blog lately, but we're trying to capture as much of the experience on our Shan & Mike blog. If you're interested. I may cross-post a few things when I actually get around to writing about the ceremony, the honeymoon, etc. Just in case that other blog dies a slow death some day, I want to have certain details captured here. For now though, it's all over there.

Aside from the wedding, life is a bit crazy. We almost completely disconnected from the real world on our honeymoon, and it's been tough to recharge. It's only Tuesday, but it feels like it's been two weeks. The minute we stepped back into real life, we ran face-first into a bunch of crap we had left behind, and it feels overwhelming. And work... I'm tired just thinking about it.

But I want to hold onto the bliss of the last couple weeks, so oooohhhmmmmmm. Bliss. Happiness. Relaxation. Breathe...you're not in the middle of chaos right now. Things are calm and easy and not stressful.

The wedding and reception and honeymoon really were so cool. I want to go back there!
