Craftastic

I don't want to talk about boobs for a minute, and since there's not much else going on in my life, I thought I'd show off some of recent crafty work. I like to do this once in awhile because I'm glad I have at least one talent, and come on, don't you guys want to buy this crap from me? My Etsy shop went defunct long ago because nobody seems to care about hand-stitched custom embroidery. Although, maybe I'm just not a good saleswoman because other people are apparently making BANK with this talent!

These kind of hand-embroidered numbers are going for $35!

I love stitching. It soothes me, and it's one of the few things I can do for hours without getting bored. I often can't sit through a 2 hour movie without getting antsy, but put an embroidery project in my hands and I'm captivated.

I just bought 25 of these blank baby bibs (at a nice discounted price!) because I like to make custom gifts for the new babies in my life. A friend had a baby on Wednesday, and over the weekend I made him this:

Want one for a baby in your life? I'll make you one! (Here are a few more baby bibs I've done.)

Ooh, cute! I (or rather, Rowan) want(s) one! How much?

Holy crap! The bibs are amazing. I wish I had your talent.

If I ever have a baby - I am totally going to commission you to make me a custom bib! :-)

Those bibs are adorable! When I have a kid, I'm coming to find you. ;)

I was dumbfounded when I got Ronia's bib. You do such an amazing job with these. Maybe you should just pick the top 10 female and male names, make bibs accordingly with sexist symbols and reopen your etsy shop. :) Of course, I always thought the bibs are waaaay to cute to be used and should be framed instead. Just my input. Ronia's is still spotless.

You know, I was just thinking about having you make me another bib for a friend, but then I thought about how busy you'd be with the quilt and didn't think you'd be interested right now. That's what I get for thinking. :)

Jess - you're right, the quilt will be time-consuming. But I started that bib Friday night and was done by Saturday night. They're usually pretty quick if I've got a plan, so I'd be happy to do another one for you!

That bib is SO cute! I would definitely love something like that when I have babies!

I've said previously, I believe, how impressed I am with your craftiness. My hubby, the rocket scientist, would love that bib for our soon-to-be-born little guy. I can't believe you do it all free hand...amazing.

I'm hoping to never have need for a bib, but I bet you could totally rock a kick-ass apron. Like one of the 1950's vintage ones? Hot.
