It took two years, but you may now call me Master Shannon

I did it. I finished graduate school.

I took last friday off work, settled into a cozy corner of the local Panera, and wrote my final graduate school paper. I proofread, edited and submitted it that night. My professor wrote back right away to say he'd be reading it on Sunday or Monday. Today is Tuesday and I haven't heard anything, so I'm gonna take that as You Passed!

I guess I'll know for sure when final grades are posted. But I'm just going to go ahead and assume I passed and I'm done. I'm done I'm done I'm done!

Soon I'll get my real-life degree in the mail, and I'll officially be a Master (muahaha). Of course that also means I'll have to start paying back all those loans soon. Which means I need to make some more  money, like now. Which, ya know, the master's degree is supposed to help with that right? Except, not so much.

So I'm done with school (yay!), but I'm about to be really broke (boo!). 'Tis life.

Congrats! That is awesome and I'm sure you're feeling a huge relief (and accomplishment) for finishing!

I have to say I'm extremely jealous. I have one more semester left and the idea of it just makes me miserable.
