Ghost Post 5

I got married! No I didn't. My sisters, my mom and I all visited this little boutique a few weekends ago and got a little carried away with trying on hideous dresses. This is about exactly what I don't want in a wedding dress: poofy, long train, lots of adornments, big veil, white. I don't know, maybe I'll wear white, but probably not.

I actually didn't think I'd wear white and then I diW. For me it's more because I look better in creams, and my favorite was pink... but five hundred dollars more than I was willing to spend. It was also really hard to find a dress without all the frills. I was glad I found one that almost didn't. I wanted even more simple than I bought though.

I love long trains though...

You are correct, that is truly a heinous gown. But isn't that part of the fun of gown shopping? God, some of the dresses that I tried on...
Because everyone wants a wedding gown that makes them look fatter, right?

Man - thanks for the blog post idea! I did the "Running of the Brides" a few years ago and actually tried on a wedding JUMPSUIT. That's right. It was a one piece, pantsuit with sparkles.

The bodice of this dress actually isn't too bad and kind of intricately pretty. But the train (long I don't mind, but it's too flowy/wispy) and the veil - Oy.

Call me crazy but this could be a hell of a lot worse.
