Several times in the last couple weeks I've gotten compliments on my new haircut. Only I didn't get a new haircut. Not since a couple weeks before Ireland at least, which makes it about six weeks ago. And even then it was the same cut I always get. I think the new haircut look is a result of the new shampoo and conditioner I've been using ever since I publicly complained about how flat my hair had become.
You guys had some really great advice about how to remedy that problem, so I thank you. I received several recommendations for Bumble & Bumble products, and I planned on going that route until I got too busy (finishing school, preparing for my trip, etc) to make the drive to the salon that actually sells those products. So instead I asked my stylist at my last haircut what she recommends. All of their shampoos and conditioners were buy one, get one free, so I figured it was a good time to try something new.

ANYWAY! God, get to the point. I ended up buying Redken's Body Full shampoo and conditoner, and so far it's been great. I didn't even buy any of the other products - Plump Treat, Weightlifter, etc. - and the only change I've made to my usual hair routine is to only condition the roots occasionally (other times I just do the ends). But I can see a clear difference, and I think everyone else can too since they seem to think I got a haircut. I still have bad hair days, like today, but in general I'm loving the Body Full!

I'm a HUGE Redken fan! We use the one in the gold bottles. I'm too lazy to get up because it's 12:30 in the morning, the cats are knocking shit over and yeah, that's it.
But, I wholeheartedly endorse your choice of hair products.

And FYI- they sell Bumble and Bumble at CVS. At least they do down here.
I love Redken products! One of my favorite products, aside from the shampoo and conditioner, is the root pumper. Everything they sell is great! My friend did my hair a couple of weeks ago and she used the root pump to give my hair more body, and surprisingly it worked! I have very thin, flat hair and I love what Redken can do with it. Thanks for the tips on conditioning as well, that is really good to know!

Love, love, love Redken! It saved my hair when it was unbelievably unhealthy (the CAT treatment was a life saver!). I adore the Clear Moisture line, which is teal. And the All Soft, which is the gold line mentioned above, is great as well!
Very cool! I'm glad you found something and quickly too. I usually go through fifteen products, waste a lot of money and end up with the same or worse results.
