Me and Danny V
Friday, November 28, 2008 at 08:39PM I'm such a dumbass. Periodically I have to deliver these publications to some local bookstores for work. Well today one of the bookstores was having a special guest. Daniel Vosovic. Of Project Runway fame. Luckily I had to deliver those publications at the exact same time he was going to be there. So yeah, I saw Daniel Vosovic. Who, if you remember, I have a bit of a crush on.
I wasn't about to buy his book or wait in the crazy line to meet him - I'm not that star struck - but I wandered around the store for awhile, pretending to be interested in books when really I was staring at Daniel. Finally I was on my way out, but I quickly took a picture of him on my phone. Just as I was taking the picture, someone called my name. It was someone I know who happens to work at the bookstore. She was standing right next to Daniel Vosovic! So of course I went over to talk to her.
Before you get excited, no I didn't make out with Daniel Vosovic. I didn't even get to meet him. But I was standing literally 12 inches from him for over five minutes! I could have sniffed his neck if I wanted to. Which I did. But I didn't. Sniff his neck that is. He was beautiful. His hair was so shiny, I wanted to bury my face in it. He was far too busy being kind and attentive to the people who waited in line to see him, so he is still completely oblivious to my existence. But still. Daniel Vosivic was in my personal space! Even if he had no idea.
The dumbass part? When I left the store, I pulled out my phone to review my sneaky shot. It wasn't there! When I saw the person I knew, I had shut my phone to say hi, but I failed to save the picture first! My stupid ass phone doesn't automatically save, which is the stupidest feature ever. Doesn't LG know that sometimes you're taking sly shots of semi-celebrities and you don't have time to hit save!?
So I have no proof that I breathed the same air as Daniel Vosovic. But I swear I did, and I swear there was a connection. He didn't even have to acknowledge me. We didn't even have to make eye contact for me to know. Danny V and I have something special.

Haha. I don't think you need any more proof that you breathed the same air as Danny V. than the extreme enthusiasm emanating from this post. Which is awesome. And yes, I have an LG too, and it has also screwed me over by not saving photos automatically. LG should stand for...lamest gadget.
