Stingy beats smart any day

Yesterday it was so hot and humid here, I spent the entire day sitting in my underwear in front of a fan. Not exaggerating, the entire day. I didn't leave the house.
The few times I ventured away from the fan, my skin was instantly covered in a patina of sweat.
It wasn't until Brad got home that evening (the nutcase was helping friends move all day in this weather!) and turned on the air conditioner that it occurred to me that AC might help. I'm such a cheap ass that my brain automatically blocks any idea that might cost me money. Forget comfort, my brain says, we have to pay to run that machine!
