American Idol: 5/1/07

I'm not sure many people know this, but I have a bit of a crush on Jon Bon Jovi. I've always thought he was damn sexy, and yes I like the music. So this was a good night for me. And for the contestants, I was very impressed.

Phil: Phil singing Bon Jovi is yummy.
Jordin: I don't know, I sorta liked it.
LaKisha: Thank you for doing good! I didn't want you to go home yet.
Blake: Mesmerizing. So great! This guy is not just a singer like most other contestants; he's a real artist.
Chris: That wasn't so bad.
Melinda: Superb as usual.

Everyone did pretty good, so it's rough that two people will be voted off this week. There's only one I'm really ready to say farewell to, and I just wish everyone else could win in a five-way tie. No actually there's another one I wouldn't be too sad to see go. So a four-way tie. Yeah that works. I'm not even going to say who my picks are because I rarely ever guess right, and this week I really want to be right. So... ziiiip!

I, too, looooove Jon Bon Jovi. He was my first celeb crush. I don't regularly watch AI, but I tuned in for last night. I wasn't a fan of Jordin; I think the song was too low for her. (I know that song is tough, though. That's the first song I ever did karaoke to.)

I, unfortunately, missed Blake's song. I let my husband flip channels to catch the score of the basketball play-offs. He changed it back just in time to hear the judges go, "That's the best re-interpretation of a song EVER on American Idol!" So sad. :(

I don't ever watch American Idol, but caught it last night. I wasn't impressed with Jordin at all...the others were great. Melinda is from here (Tulsa), so she's my favorite by default. ;) I was also impressed with Blake. That was great!
