Quick update from a Days Inn business center in Montgomery, AL. The trip started out a little rough. Our favorite ice cream place opened up on Thursday, and I insisted on stopping on the way out of town. I ate a chocolate malt on an empty stomach, then set out for a long drive. That combination equals major car sickness.
We made it to Louisville, KY that night though, and now we're only a few hours from our destination. It's a lot warmer down here, but I'm still hoping for a few more degrees. So much better than snowy cold Michigan though! Hopefully I can find a way to check in again soon.
