Galapagos

This guy is a storytelling genius. I love the style and technique Vonnegut uses in Galapagos, the way he tells you everything you need to know, but not in any kind of chronological order. You may learn when and how a character dies on page 20, but not find out why or what lead up to it until page 200. And each piece of bait makes you want to read more and more, until suddenly you're done with the book.
The themes in the book are timeless, the complicated details of the story are genius, and the writing style has made this one of my new favorite books. Read it!
