My dear friend Jessica is visiting me this weekend. Well last night and today. She's never been to GR before, and sadly her first impression was the dive restaurant where we had dinner last night. She had a gift certificate good at a variety of restaurants here, none of which I had heard of. So we randomly picked. It wasn't the exactly how I'd like her to remember the city, but the food was at least decent, and we kind of tricked the server into giving us a free meal. The gift certificate was for $25 if we spent $35. We only spent $26, but since she didn't say anything, we didn't say anything either.
I'm not sure what we're doing today, but she just got out of the shower so I have to go be a good little hostess. More later? Maybe.

I totally had fun! And it wasn't a bad place. Those are the kinds of places that I'm used to. Weee...being away from home is totally awesome. I hate being back already!
