Can I? Will I? Should I?
Friday, October 12, 2007 at 06:22AM So who’s doing NaBloPoMo this year?
I participated last year because it didn’t seem that difficult to write a post a day, and I thought it might be fun. I was right on both accounts. The weekends were a little tough, but I don’t remember feeling like it was an impossible task. The best part though was the social networking it provided. I made so many new blog-friends that month. I added at least twenty new sites to my daily reads and gained some really rockin’ new readers.
For those reasons alone, I’m totally ready to participate again this year. But at the same time, you can see how I’ve had to let this blog go a little bit in the last couple months. Am I ready to commit to a post a day?
I don’t know. What are you doing?

I probably will. I did last year. It wasn't always easy, especially during Thanksgiving, but I enjoyed it.
i already committed myself to doing it :) how could i not when i met so many awesomely cool bloggers ... um ... like you!! i think it will be crazy fun! xox
I, for one, enjoy your blogging. So, selfishly, I hope you do it. But, the realistic me says you've got a lot more on your plate this year as compared to last. But if you think you can commit to one more thing, go for it! I'm a devoted fan and reader!
I second everything Jess said. I LOVE reading your blogs and they really make my day, but I completely understand if you shy away from the commitment given your current load.
I really wish I could do it, especially since NaBloPoMo is the reason I made your acquaintance. But there's just no way I can pull it off this year, especially since I'll be in Manhattan working at an event for five days of November. Besides the inevitable fatigue and lack of time factors, I have no idea if I will have reliable internet access during that week.
Since I'm doing NaNoWriMo (or at least telling myself that I am) I don't think I will have the energy for NaBloPoMo, but it sounds like a great idea on virtual paper anyway. I'd love if you were posting a blog a day but I might have a hard time keeping up with you!
