Pus and ice cream, all in one post. Read on!
Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 08:28AM
Just some blips on the thought radar of my brain, none of which relate closely enough to others to create a cohesive narrative. At least not today when my head is once again threatening to split in half. Which leads me nicely into my first bullet point:
- Health update.
- Throbbing infected toe: cured (but not before I squeezed pus out of it twice).
- Bladder infection: relatively cured (though I really shouldn't hold it for so long anymore (sadly, my ability to hold it is one of my few talents)).
- Stomach aches: better.
- Headaches: still pretty constant and still pretty loathesome.
- Sharp pains: gone!
- Chronic fatigue: she's a tough one that chronic fatigue, doesn't give up for anything, the bitch.
- According to this, I am quite the average woman. Basically what they're saying is that I'm very near the perfect woman. Or wait, maybe it just means I'm average and the perfect woman is six inches taller with smaller hips and thighs. Damn. However, if average was my goal I'd only need to shrink an inch and a half, lose a few pounds, and shed a couple inches off my mondo birthing hips.
- This weekend I heard something about South Dakota making almost all abortions illegal in the state. I haven't investigated the validity of that. But wow. If that's really the direction we're heading, then I'm scared. I know the passing of time makes us forget the way things were, especially things we didn't experience first-hand, but I can't imagine going back to pre-Roe v. Wade conditions.
- Help fund free mammograms everyday.
- The ice cream places open today in Jackson. It may still be cold out there, but this is the first and most crucial sign of spring to come. I think tonight I'll have a reeses pieces flurry in chocolate ice cream. Or maybe just a twist cone. Yeah, start small.

I swear I've been craving ice cream for months. Then, last thursday when I'm working in Jenison, I get a call from my coworkers in Wayland who inform me that they just bought a GALLON bucket of Superman ice cream. I ADORE Superman ice cream. And..they didn't even save me any. On that same note, there is an ice cream place right down the road in Wayland that sells "Playdough" ice cream...it's Blue Moon with cookie dough chunks! Yum!
Yeah I've had Playdough ice cream. The cookie dough chunks are dyed different colors. I liked Superman when i was little, but I havne't had it in a really long time.
