Oh happy day off

Next week there's a holiday, and where I work we not only get Thanksgiving day off, but the two days surrounding it as well. Conveniently I had some flex time to use up, so as a little treat to myself, I'm taking the whole week off. Did you catch that? The WHOLE WEEK! The Whole. Fricking. Week. And I'm so happy that I'm thinking about running through the halls naked in celebration. But I suppose that would leave a bad image with my poor coworkers who do have to work next week. Suckers.

So instead, to celebrate, here is a list of things I love about taking days off:

1. Sleeping in
2. Sleeping in more
3. Not setting an alarm
4. Eating breakfast at noon
5. Wearing pajamas all day
6. Watching crappy daytime television
7. No obligation to shower
8. No makeup!
9. Taking naps
10. Eating lunch at 4pm
11. Having no obligations unless I want to have them
12. Spending actual time with Brad where we're not trying to fit a million things into a few hours and we can actually enjoy being together for once gosh!
13. Eating dinner at nine
14. Staying up late
And of course, it must be said again...
15. Sleeping In!

That wasn't nearly as exciting as a naked hall run, but I'm shy, so maybe you'd like to do it instead. I know not everyone is as lucky as me next week, but if you get even one day off, that's something to celebrate. So strip off those clothes and get running!

I'm so jealous. I am doing this at Christmastime, though. ... Enjoy Dr Phil!!
