Snow Day!

Yet another benefit to working for a college. They closed the school yesterday cuz of the weather. I got to sleep in until 10, then take a nap in the afternoon. I only left the house once, to go to the bank. Of course it took me 20+ mins to remove the two layers of snow that were divided by a layer of ice from my car to make the 10 minute trip. But oh well.

Yesterday I also fell flat on my face. Literally. I was playing an intense game of Tetris so I didn't notice that my leg had fallen asleep. When I stood up, I couldn't feel my leg underneath me and I fell. Crashed really, onto the floor. It actually really hurt so I laid on the ground for awhile in pain, then laid there longer and laughed out loud at myself while I waited for feeling to return to that limb. Falling in general is so funny to me, even when it's I who is doing the falling.

Andrea and Emily are in town and I'm leaving soon to go home and see them! Sister Night tonight, huge family dinner tomorrow, then a night out on the town with all our friends.

Remember when i told you to be careful when coming out of my house cause the step was icy, and you just slid right off it and landed on your back?! And then i cracked up and couldn't stop laughing.... i'm so mean. But Man, was that funny.
