Don't judge a kid by its name

Fun for the day: I was browsing MSN and found a list of celebrity children's names. I'm fascinated by naming, so I thought I'd share a few. Most of these are horrible, but some I would maybe even consider for my own children, if I didn't already have them picked out :)

Jett
Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah
Diezel and Denim
Speck Wildhorse and Hud
Pilot Inspektor
Audio Science
Moon Unit, Dweezil and Diva
Tiger Lily, Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honeyblossom, and Pixie
Banjo
Aurelius
Lyric and Zephyr
Kyd
Reignbeau (ah, tricky) and Freedom
Jermajesty

I kind of like Jett, Scout, and Aurelius. What do ya'll think? (I'm still trying to incoporate ya'll into my dialect.)

i think that my 3 children will have the following names from your list: Speck Wildhorse, Pilot Inspektor, and Audio Science. My dog will be Kyd (ha ha) and my cat will be Jermajesty. Maybe Reignbeau also. Interesting names... I have never heard of them. I like the ones you pict for yourself -- well, Aurelius is cool. And Jett. But Scout would be a cute puppy name.

I've always REALLY liked the name Scout. A lot. I'd definitely stand behind you on that one. Jett is pretty cool too, and you could have another parallel child named Gunnar, because it seems like they'd go well together. Aurelius would also be nice. I'm trying to figure out what his nickname would be. Maybe "Killer."

Haha. "Rumer." Hmmm. I wonder how they thought of that.

You gotta say "Whaddaya y'all think?" Otherwise you still sound too sophisticated.

Scout works for me... but his middle name would have to be Cooper then. Nobody will get it -- but I'll think it's great. Makes Justin smile.

'Aurelius' makes me think of Gladiator and it'd confuse the heck out of a kid thinking his name was "Oh Really Is?" during their early development years.

Anybody that names their kid "Moon Unit" needs a swift kick to the rear and a reminder to quit smoking pot for breakfast.

I'll probably end up referring to my kids as #1, #2, etc. Works in Star Trek, right?
