Moisture please
My hands are so dry lately. So is my face. And the rest of my skin. I remember always having drier skin in the winter, but this is ridiculous. I’m reaching for the lotion every half hour. I blame it on getting old.
That’s it, I’m in a hurry today. But dry skin, that’s important stuff to know.

I was just talking about this with Mandy yesterday. She was saying how her skin was drier than she remembered it being in the past. I asked how old she was and she said 24. I remember somewhere between 24 & 26 my body did some significant changing. My skin becoming dry and flakey, even, was one of those changes.
Now, if I don’t wear gloves in the winter time, my knuckles will become extremely dry and crack and…bleed! Yeeouch! It didn’t used to do that! WTH? I never used to have to slather on lotion every single day so that my legs wouldn’t become dry, flakey and itch like mad. I do now.
Actually, come to think of it, I don’t remember ever using lotion on anything except my fact until my mid-twenties. (You know, except when I was wearing shorts or a skirt or something.)

I don’t go anywhere without lotion. And I have three bottles on my desk, which I use frequently throughout the day. I hear ya and your dry skin pain, my friend.

Hell, I use lotion too. I have dry skin in the SUMMER, so I use that good shea butter stuff from bath and body works after every shower. I only have to apply it once, and I’m itch-free for the day. Magical stuff. Great for giving massages too (heh. not like I’m doing any of that lately).

Me too! This dry winter weather is killing my hands (and it probably doesn’t help that I wash them like 10-15 times a day… I don’t want to get sick!).
I actually use some super duper deep moisterizer from “Eucerin” and it seems to do the trick.
