Ugh. That's horrible!
I can relate to the expensive school/work multiple jobs situation, as I did the same thing in college, but thankfully, none of those shifts went past 11:00.

In response to your comment - I've been reading for a few weeks. I was talking to repressed librarian and she recommended reading your blog.

I feel for the third shifters. That seems very unfair. Especially if you are in a job where you are counting down the hours till you can leave. Our little problem with the time change is that my adorable monster son who usually gets up at 5 now wants to spring out of bed at 4. In his sweet little toddler brain it is 5. So he does not understand why Momma keeps shushing him and telling him to go back to bed. Sigh...

Ohmy, you were very driven. I tried my best to loaf through my first two years of college, doing as little as possible and sleeping as much as possible. I suppose that's where my sleep got off track and has never gotten back on. You know what I mean.

Anyway, you made me think that I came across a note about my first job in college this weekend while unpacking some wonderful treasures that have been in boxes for nearly ten years. I wrote about being extremely excited about my first job on campus making $5.65 and hour. LOL My how things change!

Oh how I loved that I woke up and it was only 10:30 on Sunday which would normally have been 11:30. It was lovely.
