American Idol: 5/15/07
To tell the truth, I wasn’t very excited about AI this week. It almost felt like a chore to sit down at 8:00 with my little pencil and pad of paper. But I did it, and turns out, it was pretty enjoyable.
First songs…
Jordin: Not doing much for me.
Blake: Entertaining. Especially when he dropped the mic at the end.
Melinda: Voice of gold.
Second songs…
Jordin: Still not doing much for me.
Blake: I so frickin’ love Blake!
Melinda: You rock girl.
Third songs…
Jordin: Now she’s just starting to bug me.
Blake: Oh Blakey, you’re good.
Melinda: And you’re damn hot!
I’m worried that because Simon and Randy said they expect to see Melinda in the finale, people won’t vote for her while they try to “save” Blake and Jordin. All I really want from this show is to see Melinda and Blake in the final two, then I don’t care who wins. However, as usual, I didn’t vote. So I’ll shut up now.

You really like Melinda that much? For some reason, I think she’s SO boring. And her whole uber-confident during songs, but annoyingly cluless and unconfident when she’s not singing is getting SO old to me. I hope she gets cut tonight.
And obviously…I want Blake to win. He frickin rocks. And I love his moves..:)

Okay but have you noticed how obnoxiously annoying Jordin is? Oh my god please stop mouthing things at the camera and showing us what numbers to call with your fingers. WE KNOW! We can see the screen! Yeah she’s sweet or whatever but holy crap she drives me nuts.
Melinda doesn’t really bug me. I think if I met her in real life, I’d find her really funny and endearing and genuine. As a matter of fact, I kinda want to be her friend.

Uh oh…is next week going to be like last year and you’re going to be pissed if Jordin wins?
I actually don’t mind her…but can see where you think she’s a little annoying. I just want Blake to win anyway….and I think he has a better shot with Melinda gone.

I was raging last night when the put Jordin through. She just bugs me. Not as much as Katherine did, but every week I get more and more annoyed. Melinda is more consistent, more professional and less annoying. Plus Jordin is too pop, too typical, too barf-all-over-me. I like Blake a lot, but I’m not even that interested in the finale because I’m sure Jordin will win and I’ve had enough of her.
Good Jaslene won on America’s Next Top Model last night. I love her, so that made up for Jordin’s free pass.
