My old friend, American Idol
Once again, I’m sadly obsessed with American Idol. Oh how those amateur singers capture my heart every. damn. season. I missed half of the girls Tuesday night and wasn’t all that taken by the ones I did see, but some of the guys last night made my heart race and my girl parts tingle. I won’t list them all, but here are some of my personal highlights:
Kevin- Can I just take you home please? I think I could fit you in my pocket. I felt like your mother last night and my heart swelled with pride even though you’re not the best singer. But whatever. Just look how little and cute your are.
Will- Who do you remind me of? Yeah yeah, one of the Brady boys. But who else?
Ace- Okay I really didn’t like you at first, but you can actually sing. I refuse to be one of your Idol groupies, but the hate factor has decreased, I’ll admit. And I like your hair.
Chris- My girl parts were on fire for you last night! You’re one of my boyfriend’s favorites too, so we swooned over you together. And god, what a perfect song! Please stop looking at me because your eyes are causing me to melt all over the floor.
David- Please just go away. That’s all.
Taylor- Who doesn’t love you? You’re totally Robin’s man, I know, she can have you. But you’ve secured my adoration simply because you sang Levon! That’s one of my favorite songs, nobody EVER knows that song. And you sang it. Taylor, you rock.
Why oh why do I have to love this show so much?

Ok..so in response to your personal thoughts on the AI contestants:
Kevin: Ok..he’s cute, I admit, and I just feel so bad for him because honestly, I just can’t listen to him sing forever. Eventually we’ll all get used to how adorable he is, and realize that its time for him to leave and let some people that can actually sing stay.
Ace: Not a huge fan either. I mean, he can sing, and he is a hottie, but stop being so pretty! I like the hair too, but he’s just like a little puppy dog.
Chris: Chris frickin rocks. You know that Taylor is my man, but Chris is definitely a close second. He can sing, and he’s f-ing hot!
David: I actually like David! I can’t believe you dislike him so much. He’s a cutie, and he has that cool voice.
And of course…Taylor: I just love the boy. I can’t help it. And, the fact that he sang Levon, honestly….he couldn’t have been any better. Well, maybe if he would have danced a little more. I adore his spastic dancing!
Seriously though…I thought I swore off AI this year…it’s so heartbreaking when my favorites go home. Ah well…maybe next year.

Ok Robin, I have to reply to some of your people here…
Kevin: I agree. except I can’t see the cuteness, just the 16-year-oldness. He needed to leave long ago.
Ace: Totally agree.
Chris: My man from the beginning. Second only to Taylor.
David: No. Please. No. Oh God no. How could you still like him after seeing his head vibrate on ever word? And he’s seriously trying to hard with the Frank Sinatra/Michael Buble thing. Oh, it would make my life, like 99.9% better if he was voted off. Please America!! Please vote off David!! I’m going to vote for every other contestant except him, which will virtually be my vote to send him home. haha
I thought I swore off AI altogether. But no, Shan has to get me hooked with the damn ‘preseason’ shows. You owe me some Pistons games, Shan!

Okay so let’s just get rid of David and Kevin and all those other not-so-cools and we’ll leave Chris, Taylor and maybe Ace.
And I think I watched plenty of Pistons games. I’m actually probably still ahead and YOU owe ME lots more American Idol!

I don’t know, I’ve watched a lot of hours of American idol so far. I’d say we’re pretty close.
I say keep Ace for entertainment factor. his stare at the end makes me laugh.

Now you’re going to be addicted to AI for the whole rest of the season. I would even try and quit..:)
And seriously…I can’t believe you two despise David so much. BUT..I agree that there are much better people, so we can agree to disagree, and he can go home. I won’t be that heartbroken.

Sad but true…My favorite guy this year is probably Ace. His eyes and hair are gorgeous. A very nice end to a day full of tax returns, that’s for sure!
